As a leading architect of innovative Enterprise Content Management Solutions, CDIT continuously evaluates evolving technologies for their ability to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our clients’ business and information management processes.
It is important to recognize that while each of these technologies may be implemented in stand-alone configurations, the value of these technologies can be dramatically enhanced by implementing integrated solutions, incorporating several or all of these components, leveraging the synergistic nature of these technologies.
The core technologies that are leveraged in the development of CDIT’s solutions include:
Document Imaging
The efficient capture, indexing and routing of documents and data typically originating from scanned or faxed forms and other documents, including:
- Scanner hardware devices from the top scanner vendors
- Image-enhancement software to ensure each image scanned is of optimal image quality
- Document imaging & Data capture software to enable:
- Scanning or capturing of documents (paper or electronic) in the most efficient way possible from any location
- Structured Forms Processing
- Unstructured/Semi-structured document processing
- Automated Document Classification and Separation
- Collection of indexing information, either manually (data entry) or electronically (bar codes, OCR or ICR)
- Validation to enter/correct metadata or extracted data to ensure accuracy
- Automate the routing of each document and/or metadata to the respective ERP, Document Management, Workflow or other line-of-business application
Workflow/BPM
The tasks, procedural steps, individuals, input and output information and tools needed to support the completion of a specific business function. The automatic routing of documents to the users responsible for working on them. Workflow is concerned with providing the information required to support each step of the business cycle. Automating workflow sets timers that ensure that documents move along at a prescribed pace and that the appropriate person processes them in the correct order.
Document Management
The central management of document creation, revision, access, distribution and storage of electronic files in a highly secure environment, enabling organizations to centrally manage the physical storage of all enterprise content.
