OpenText Acquires Division of Spicer Corporation

CDIT Inc. Signs Deal with J.S. Redpath to Automate their Business Procedures
CDIT Inc. is currently working on developing an EMC solution to streamline J.S Redpaths business process. The key strategic objectives and as follows: sharing information, improve workflow, archive knowledge, standardize procedures, greater accessibility and the transfer of information between head office, remote project sites (around 42) and satellite offices (7 located in Sudbury, Timmins, Jakarta, Ulaanbaatar, Santiago, and Reno). We will be focusing on leveraging their current technology infrastructure and ensuing that maximum scalability and benefits are obtained from all new technologies. This solution will address approximately ten functional areas. These include operations (contracting), project controls (scheduling, invoicing), estimating, engineering, safety, shops (work orders, asset management), HR, admin (accounting/purchasing/finance/payroll), marketing, and raiseboring.
