The CDIT Import Controller for Kofax Capture is a CDIT-developed custom module for Kofax Capture, which facilitates the automated import of electronic files—including faxes received via a fax server and documents scanned via multi-function devices (MFD)—into pre-defined batch class workflows for processing within Kofax Capture. The CDIT Import Controller for Kofax Capture provides your organization with a solution that both eliminates the issue of lost faxes and documents scanned via MFDs, while allowing you to process these types of documents using the same Kofax business rules as traditionally scanned documents.
The CDIT Print & Fax Extension for Kofax Capture allows Kofax Capture users to print or fax entire documents or selected pages directly from within the Scan, Validation, Verification and Quality Control modules in Kofax Capture. Printing or faxing at the document level prints/faxes all pages in the document, while printing or faxing at the page level prints/faxes only the selected pages. Print and fax jobs are submitted to the default printer or fax server accessible to the Kofax workstation from which the printing or faxing is being performed. The CDIT Print & Extension is extremely easy to install and uses the familiar right-click Windows pop-up menu—requiring virtually no end-user training.
The CDIT Print & Fax Extension for Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM) Thin Client allows KTM users to print or fax entire documents or selected pages directly from within the Validation, Verification or Correction modules in KTM (Thin Client). As handling problematic documents (poor image quality, incomplete or incorrect documents) is often a challenge within Capture/Business Processes, CDIT Print & Fax Extension for KTM Thin Client enables users to transmit documents for correction, through printing and/or fax. The CDIT Print & Extension is extremely easy to install and uses the familiar right-click Windows pop-up menu—requiring virtually no end-user training.
The CDIT Quality Control (QC) Investigations Extension for Kofax Capture allows Kofax Capture operators to validate and correct key metadata on documents from within the Kofax Capture Quality Control module. Visible in the Quality Control module as an additional panel, the QC Investigations Extension provides operators with the ability to quickly perform data indexing quality checks, including editing, copying and saving index field data.
While the “out-of-the-box” functionality of the Kofax Capture Quality Control module is geared towards error identification and resolution of erroneous documents, it only provides image manipulation capabilities. The CDIT QC Investigations Extension is a valuable addition to the Kofax Capture workflow process as it allows investigations on document index data to be performed outside of the Validation module.
The Image Address Control Panel (IACP) is a CDIT-developed custom panel (OCX) for Kofax Capture and the Kodak i1800 series of scanners. This panel allows direct address to the Image Address feature of the Kodak i1800 series of scanners. The IACP can be configured to allow sharing of image addresses among any number of batch classes in a Kofax Capture environment and works with both single and multi-level image addresses. Additionally, the IACP can automatically detect if the current batch requires a single level address or a multi-level address.
